“Sleep Angels”

Bed program

  Providing comfort for At-risk children in the Jackson community who have no bed to sleep in.

As a minister who works with first responders we noticed a need here in our city. Many times, we visit houses in low-income areas and see many children sleeping on the floor, couches, or an air mattress.

A child will spend 1/3 of their lifetime in bed. There is no bigger necessity a child needs than a comfortable safe place to lay their head at night. Some Children we work with do not have this luxury.

 We currently have a growing list of kids in need. This holiday season sponsor a gift that will last longer than any toy or piece of clothing. Give a child a SAFE, COMFORTABLE, WARM place to lay their head at night.

Bibles and burgers will build the frames through local contractors, buy all mattresses and bedding along with showing up to the Child’s residence and assembling it for them. In the future we plan for every bed to have a comforting scripture and the child’s name engraved on it.

Expenses-

Frames and assembly- $100

Mattress- $100

Bedding and pillow- $50

 Sponsor a bed for $250 or make any size contribution to help a child in need.
